One Pot Chilli Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes 

Cook Time: 55 minutes 


1 lb ground beef 

1 green pepper diced 

1 red pepper diced 

1 jalapeno diced 

1 onion diced 

2 tbsp tomato paste 

1 15 oz can diced tomatoes 

3 cloves garlic, minced 

2 bay leaves 

2 tbsp cumin 

2 tbsp chilli 

½ tsp paprika 

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

2 tsp salt plus more to taste 

1 15 oz can red kidney beans 

1 ½ cup beef broth 

2 tbsp olive oil 

2 tbsp Four Fathers Food Habanero Hot Sauce 

Tools Needed 

Large pot or Dutch oven. 


Heat a large pot or dutch oven over medium heat. Drizzle the olive oil. Add in the onions, jalapenos, red peppers and green peppers. Cook until the onions are translucent and the peppers have softened (3-4 minutes).  

Add in the garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the beef,cumin, chilli, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper. Cook the beef until browned. 

Scoop the 2 tbsp of tomato and the habanero hot sauce and add to the cooked beef. 

Pour in the beef broth, canned tomatoes and beans. Top with the bay leaves. 

Reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and let the chilli simmer for 45 minutes. 

Serve immediately or with cornbread and enjoy!
